Not sure whether I should fly to Vietnam with a stopover for a day or two some place then when done in Vietnam fly to Bangkok for my 7 to 8 days before making my way back home.

Great post! I always thought about scheduling long layovers on my trips, but for some reason, I imagined it was more complicated to set up.
